Pedro is the
first Trejo I found whose name was lost in history. My father, who provided me with my base
genealogical information, did not know the names of his ancestors beyond his
grandparents. Pedro passed before my grandfather was born,
so Guadalupe likely did not have any stories about his grandfather to share with his children.
I know that
Pedro Trejo and Ramona Soto are my 2nd great grandparents because
their names are mentioned in various records for Apolonio Trejo and Guadalupe Trejo.
Baptism
Pedro was baptized on October 23, 1849. I believe the record below states that he was born in Huapango to Rafael Trejo (22) and Crispina Lara (22), and was baptized in Tarimoro. The record is from the Salvatierra church because the municipality was under the Salvatierra parish at the time.

Pedro married
Crispina Lara on May 28, 1873 in Tarimoro, Guanjuato. You may notice that his actual marriage record yields very little biographical information.

Census
Pedro lived in Puerto de Barajas during the 1883 padron, with his wife, Crispina, and their children.
Death
He died in
Tarimoro on September 20 1890, at the age
of 41 years. He was survived by his wife
and kids.
Death seemed
to be ever present in the small town.
In a three year period in the mid 1880’s, Pedro and Crispina lost two
infant children and his father. His
daughter Patricia passed away at around
a year of age and his son Modesto passed away under the age of one.
